Over the years, the Athens Red Hawk Marching Band has become synonymous with EXCELLENCE. We are proud of the successes our students have enjoyed. And, of course, with the success comes a great deal of hard work.
Each year, well before the school year begins, members of the Marching Band attend summer rehearsals held at Athens High School. In addition, we travel to Leonard, Michigan (located north of Rochester) to Echo Grove Camp for our annual band camp.
The 2021 AHSMB Band Camp will be held August 2nd thru August 7th. July 26 – 30 will be held at Athens. (1101 Camp Road, Leonard 248.628.3108)
Attendance at band camp is required of all members who intend to perform with the Red Hawk Marching Band. All members must attend camp because each individual relies upon the next. It takes every member’s participation to make the band look and sound its best. Family vacations and work schedules will need to be adjusted so that each student can attend this mandatory camp.
