Make sure your instrument is in good playing condition. Bring extra reeds, valve oil, etc. Percussionists must bring their own drumsticks to camp.
Due to our very hot summers, try to bring a small electric fan for your area. (If you are going to bring a small personal fan, you should also bring an extension cord.) Be sure to check the weather as past years were unseasonably cold and no one (including most chaperones) had enough warm clothing.
No additional money is required at camp. However, the camp store "Froggies" will be open a few hours during the week and has snacks available for purchase. It is recommended that students bring no more than $25, and students are responsible for their money.
Take a copy of the Camp Itinerary to camp for reference. It will also be available on line via the Band Calendar system and can be synced to your personal device.
Students may bring their own snacks to camp. Please ensure all snacks are nut free due to severe allergies with other band members. Anyone wishing to store containers under their bunk beds should ensure that the containers are no more 10.5" tall.
